Glad you had a good sleep that day...and guessing you will never every ask your friend again to wake up at 7:30, especially during a staycation! :P

Yeah, it was the best. Drooling over pillowcovers, tension free.

Also, next time it would "Wakey Wakey it's 7:30" and not Wake up 😝

I have lived in Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Noida, Hyderabad, and now Bangalore. I miss the days when far meant 7 kms. The days when one could travel from one end of the city to another in max 30 minutes. Now it takes me an hour to travel from home to work that's 14 kms away. And what do I do? I claim to use my travel time for "productive things" like reading and watching new series (though both make me sick by the time I reach work). This was a wonderful article Utkarsha! Thanks for reminding us to take that nap guilty free!

True, the small cities have also expanded significantly and those days now remain as fragments in our memories. I'm so glad that this piece resonated with you, Shreya. :)

'Bhaag daud bhari zindagi mein thakna boht zruri hai'... So i rest to the fullest when i feel... Its better to rest in bed, than to rest in peace 🥲... Its better to take that 5 min aur wali neend, trust me i have seen heaven on earth in that 5 min aur... That was a really nice read Utkarsha 🫰🫰

Absolutely! The thakaan is a reminder that we're human and not just social machines. Glad you liked it :)

living in Ghaziabad and taking at least 2 hours to reach anywhere -- this one hit home!

I've done the same throughout life so far and that's why work from home felt unfair in the beginning!

Loved this article Utkarsha. thank you for writing this :)
